6 Ways to boost positive body image daily.

Positivity has always been a huge part of my life and my identity, but positive body image is something I've worked for.


And I still am, but the positive difference I've seen so far is that I no longer feel the need to follow any other beauty standard or perception than my own. I feel beautiful, so should you feel that way and so should everybody else.


It is a huge inner work to accept ourselves the way we are while dealing with all the pressure from standards and society who is also impacted by other's perception of beauty. At the same time, finding the strength to stay true to ourselves is such a power we all have but not everyone realizes that.


So, here are 5 ways that can improve your body image daily.




1. Apps for positive body image and self-care.

There is an app called GG Positive Body Image that focuses on improving Positive Body Image.

2. Start your day with an inspiring podcast.

Podcasts are such a cool thing, you can listen to them whenever and however you want. I used to listen to motivational podcasts while I was getting ready for school, it was a great way to start my day and I'm trying to implement it into my new daily routine.

3. Get inspired by other people’s stories.

One of the things I love the most about my job is that I have a chance to work with amazing people who have a will to share their real-life stories and experiences that really inspire me.

4. Create an inspirational board on Pinterest or follow other people's boards.

If you want to make an inspirational board on Pinterest. Here is an idea. Make a board with 29 inspiring pins (depends on how many days are in the month) and day by day start your morning by checking one pin. That would be a positive way to set the intention for the day or make you feel inspired.


For the past month, I've been highly active on Pinterest and I have made a few boards that inspire me daily and I hope it inspires others too - to boost confidence and improve positive body image.

5. Meditate for at least 5 minutes.

I personally use an app called Headspace, whenever I have some free time or I make time for some headspace moment because I really do need it. I believe it could be a great way to relax your mind even if you are not constantly thinking about 10 things at the same time as me.


Loading our minds with thousands of thoughts can leave us exhausted and stressed, so it's really important to take some time of the day for ourselves to have some peaceful moment.
